Exmoor Farm Services, the one stop shop for businesses within the rural community. Increasing co-operation, buying power and resources, Exmoor Farm Services is the farmers “right hand man”. Services provided include a buying group, training, business solutions, a labour bureau, waste consultancy and nutrient analysis.
Exmoor Farm Services has been set up to encourage and enable co-operation within the rural community. Members can expect an efficient and friendly service from a team of understanding staff who have worked and lived within the farming community. The sole aim of the Exmoor Farm Services staff is to help relieve the daily stress of business by “shopping around for the best price”, centralising invoices and providing a full range of services that will save time and money in order to reduce costs and increase profit.

Alison joined the team in 2002 and manages the business on a daily basis. Alison has worked in the industry all her life and grew up on a beef and sheep farm. She is extremely supportive of our industry and is motivated by the opportunity to help farmers run their business efficiently whether that be by securing them the best possible prices or by providing administration support. Alison is also Secretary for the Devon Closewool Sheep Breeders’ Society.
Brian Dallyn is a founder member of our co-operative and has been Chairman of the Board since the groups launch in 2002. Brian also represents the South West on the British Wool Marketing board and in the past has served on the Regional Committee as well as taking the role or regional chairman of the National Sheep Association. Brian runs pedigree flocks of Blue-faced Leicester and Exmoor Horn sheep on his farm near Parracombe.
Richard Barrow is a founder member of our co-operative. Richard operates an agricultural contracting business from his family farm at Kentisbury.
Tony Dallyn is a founder member of our co-operative. Tony has spent a number of years developing his family business and currently runs 1800 acres and over 800 dairy cows.
Ralph Bowden is a founder member of our co-operative. Ralph runs a dairy farm near Muddiford along with his son.
Jamie Cook has been a member of the board of Directors since 2003. Jamie is now taking a leading role in the running of his family dairy farm at East Down.
